In what has been a tough market, The Search is still growing – we have just made our 6th hire! (Keep your eyes peeled for our new Operations Manager who joins us in the New Year!👀)
November has been our biggest month yet, delivering over a 🔥quarter of a million 🔥in revenue.
This is no mean feat for a brand new team, most of whom have had to learn new markets – the last few months have been a rollercoaster to say the least!
But I am a strong believer in hiring for values, resilience and attitude over anything else, and I’ve gladly been proven right with this absolute DYNAMITE team. Expanding across two new verticals isn’t easy but I could not be more proud of each and every one of them!
Karolina Stastna is sat on 4 offers with one of the worlds largest and fastest growing Fintech businesses, for a people leadership team build out. All of Karolina’s candidates sailed through the interview stages, after months of them meeting candidates that didn’t hit the mark.
Olivia Finn joined in October to launch our Operations practice. She’s just won an operations team build out for a client that is scaling so fast they just can’t find the right people quick enough, and were panicking big time. She found them their Biz Ops lead, a key hire reporting into the COO, within a week. The first candidate they met, they hired.
Grace Prendergast has been working hard on an incredibly challenging Talent Director role with a Private Equity business, and has delivered a hugely diverse and eclectic shortlist, that they are now spoilt for choice and have given her some incredible feedback.
Sophie Elliott has been sunning herself in Mexico for 2 weeks, but that didn’t stop her from winning 2 retainers for senior Marketing Directors with a massive client and delivering her biggest month yet, placing a SVP Marketing, a CRM Lead and a Digital Marketing Director with some epic clients – on a brand new desk this is absolutely AMAZING.
And I filled a CPEO into an Atomico-backed client that had been a failed search of one of my biggest competitors. The role had been open with them for A YEAR, and I got it from brief-take to offer in 8 weeks – something that I am incredibly proud of.
We’ve also hired two FTC CPO roles in a matter of days. #wedontfuckaround
Recruitment is up and down to say the least, but I am absolutely in love with my job – showing clients what can be done and what bloody good hiring looks like!
